Food Drive Benefiting DASI

Shoppers at the Stop and Shop in Sparta, NJ showed overwhelming generosity in stocking the pantry shelves of our local domestic and sexual abuse shelter. We were able to collect over 10 overflowing carts worth of food and supplies, and we look forward to repeating this heartwarming show of support as an annual initiative.

LGBTQ+ 101 Food Drive

In order to better understand how we can all be of service to our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors, we partnered with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County to host a community forum featuring local LGBTQ+ thought leaders.  Everyone who attended the event was also very generous in donation canned food items, which were delivered to Project Self-Sufficiency in Newton for distribution to our community.
